This sign still exists at the entrance to current girder bridge across the River Nene at Sutton Bridge.  East Elloe is part of Holland, which in turn is a sub-division of Lincolnshire, and Wingland is an area of reclaimed marsh between Sutton Bridge and King's Lynn, and it can be deduced that prior to 1903 the crossing was a Toll Bridge.
